Trinity Christian Academy     

Trinity Christian Academy offers an extended care program that provides a safe and fun environment for our students before and after school. The extended care schedule includes: snack time, outdoor play, homework time, quiet play, movie time, computer lab time, as well as occasional special events.

All students arriving before 7:30am or remaining on campus after 3:30pm must have an extended care application on file in the office. Even students who are only occasionally in extended care should be registered.

The cost for extended care is $110.00 per month and must be paid by the 10th of each month.

Morning extended care is from 6:30am - 7:30am for grades K5 - 12 in the following rooms:

• Grades K5 - 2 meet in J101
• Grades 3 - 8 meet in P119
• Grades 9 - 12 meet in room J207

Afternoon extended care is from 3:30pm until 6:00pm at the Johnson Life Center (JLC).

Grades K5-8 are organized by class. Aftercare from 3:30pm until 6:00pm will be located on deck, in classrooms, and on the playground areas.

Pick-up is at the JLC reception desk.

Students in grades 9-12 remaining on campus after dismissal will be signed into Study Hall in Room J201. Study Hall is a part of our extended care program and students remaining on campus after 3:30pm will be signed into Extended Care and charged accordingly.

• Students may wear any TCA uniforms in extended care. We recommend TCA PE uniforms.
  
  
• Students are encouraged to bring snacks from home or change for the snack machines.
  
  
• Students are not permitted to bring toys or games from home.
  
  
• Students in extended care are permitted to attend volleyball, soccer, or basketball games on campus.
  
  
• Students in extended care are expected to observe the same campus rules they follow during school hours.
  
  

Please be sure to check your child out of extended care by signing them out in the reception area of the school office. We must be notified if the person picking up your child is not on the list of individuals you provided on your extended care application.

Extended care closes at 6:00pm. Parents who are late will be asked to sign an overtime slip. Your account will be billed at $1.00 per minute for each minute after 6:00pm.
